Ascott Regional Batam and Timezone Successfully Host "Fun Cooking Creation" Event

BATAM (sijori.id) – Ascott Regional Batam, which includes HARRIS Waterfront Batam, HARRIS Batam Center, HARRIS Barelang Batam, YELLO Harbour Bay Batam, and Oakwood Hotel and Apartments Grand Batam, proudly hosted the "Fun Cooking Creation" children's culinary event in collaboration with Timezone Megamall on 25th August 2024.

Each cooking session involved around 15-20 young chefs who not only gained hands-on experience but also had fun while learning about the importance of healthy eating. The event was a resounding success, filled with joy and creativity. Vincent Gunawan, Cluster General Regional  Sumatera  and  Kalimantan  from  The  Ascott  Limited  Indonesia,  stated,  "Introducing healthy food to children at an early age is crucial in shaping good eating habits for the future. Through events like 'Fun Cooking Creation,' we aim to make learning about healthy food enjoyable and full of happiness."

This event was designed to teach children about the importance of healthy eating through fun and interactive cooking activities. Young participants had the chance to create a variety of nutritious dishes, including Sandwich Ikan Patin Gulung, Fruit Kebabs, Sushi, Tuna Bruschetta and Fruit Cake Decoration.

The excitement was further enhanced by Brand Signature activity of each property, the presence of YELLO Roar, who brought cheer to the event, and HARRIS Move with Harris Dino, a favorite among the kids. Oakwood Hotel and Apartments Grand Batam also contributed with their special activity, "All You Knead is Comfort," where children could decorate fruit cakes, showcasing a healthy comfort food for all ages.
