BATAM (sijori.id) – Archipelago International, Southeast Asia’s largest privately-owned and independent hotel management group, continues to expand its portfolio with the signing of two new hotels in Batam, adding a third ASTON and the first select service favehotel to the popular island destination near Singapore.

The two hotels will be located within the new upscale Nagoya Thamrin City Center development on Jalan Imam Bonjol. Given this location, guests will benefit from a myriad of facilities and services right on the doorsteps of their hotel including an attractive restaurant alley, a myriad of shopping, and a modern fresh market.

ASTON Nagoya City Hotel
Set to open in May 2022, the ASTON Nagoya City hotel will be a next-generation ASTON following the brand reinvigorated interior design standards and latest ArchSmart room technology with Google Nest Voice Control and Archipelago’s proprietary ArchTV system offering unlimited content and BYO Chromecast capabilities. The hotel will feature 192 rooms and suites, a contemporary restaurant with a life rotisserie, and several function rooms conceptualized with delegate comfort and productivity in mind.

Just a stone's throw from the new ASTON City Hotel will be Batam’s very first favehotel. Unique for favehotels, the new hotel, having been designed with budget-conscious families and long stay guests in mind, will offer oversized rooms with balconies and as a salute to nearby Singapore, feature a traditional Kopitiam.

“As Indonesia’s leading hospitality management company, Archipelago International has always strived to find the best possible location for our hotels. Strategically located in the Nagoya area, both hotels will surely complement our existing successful portfolio in Batam. We are very confident that the new hotels will escalate the demand for stylish and affordable accommodation while bringing peerless international standards to the city,” said Norbert Vas, Vice President of Business Development for Archipelago International.
